1StopBK.com Inc. (hereinafter 1StopBK.com) is an independent, Florida State non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide quality financial education. If you are using 1StopBK.com to get a certificate for the purpose of filing a bankruptcy case, please read the following information.
The United States Trustee has reviewed the Agency's credit counseling session. The US Trustee has also reviewed and approved the agency’s debtor education course. The United States Trustee has neither reviewed nor approved any other services the Agency provides to debtors. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of the Agency’s services. Nothing herein shall apply to actions or claims under the provisions of the United States Bankruptcy Code, 11 U.S.C. Sec 101.
Attorney accounts are established for your convenience and if your attorney has a payment arrangement with us we may invoice that attorney for your course fee. 1StopBK.com does not participate in discount agreements or contracts with attorneys. If your attorney has an account with 1StopBK.com, your attorney will be invoiced the same amount you would pay as a client without an attorney. All publicly disclosed fees are applicable to all clients.
Certificate Delivery
Certificates will only be issued to clients who have completed the entire online course and the final counseling session.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure proper filing with the court. Additionally, 1stopbk.com is not responsible to ensure certificate is delivered to the client's attorney. The client IS solely responsible for ensuring that the client and/or their attorney receive the certificate of completion in a timely manner.
1stopbk.com is obligated to deliver certificates promptly upon completion of counseling services, please carefully read the following requirements and information:
Certificates will be issued upon completion of all requirements of the online course and an interactive counseling session with a certified credit counselor by email or phone at the end of your course.
Certificates will be delivered on average within one hour during normal business hours Monday-Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM EST. Certificates for courses completed after hours will be sent within the first two hours of the start of the next business day, sometimes sooner. We will do our best to adhere to the above policy, barring unforeseen circumstances. Please let us know immediately at customersupport@1StopBK.com if you have an emergency or need assistance in receiving your certificate.
Certificate Expiration
Your credit counseling certification will have the date and time that you completed the emailed counseling stamped on it. Your certificate will be valid for the purpose of filing for a bankruptcy case for up to 180 days from the date and time stated on your completion certificate.
Hours of Operation
Course materials are provided through the Internet via an interactive learning module. The course can be accessed 7 days a week and 365 days a year. However, site support is limited to certain hours of operation.
Counselors
All credit counselors at 1StopBK.Com are experienced, certified and trained professionals. They are certified by either Fincert.Org or Credit Counselor Certification, Inc.
Your Credit Report
1StopBK.com does not report any information to any credit reporting agency or bureau; therefore the use of 1StopBK.com’s course and program will have no impact on your credit report. During the course of a credit counseling session 1StopBK.com does provide clients information about alternatives based upon an individual's financial situation. Some of these alternatives, which are services not provided by 1StopBK.com, specifically debt management plans and the filing of bankruptcy, will affect your credit report.
Funding Received From Course Only
1StopBK.com's source of funding is the fees it receives for Credit Counseling certifications and Financial Education certifications needed for the purpose of Bankruptcy cases. 1StopBK.com does not take or receive funding from any creditor or lender.
Fee Policy--Cost of Credit Counseling Certification
The cost of 1StopBK.com's credit counseling certification is $14.95 per individual and $14.95 per couple.
Any discount given for 1StopBK.com is for the client's benefit only. 1stopbk.com does not receive or pay referral fees for the referral of clients, except under a fair share agreement.
Bilingual Customers
1stopbk.com does not provide bilingual instruction with regards to the online course, nor do we offer customer service or professional interpreter assistance to any limited English proficient debtor.
Tuition Waiver Information & Procedures
Services will be provided without regard to the client's ability to pay. 1StopBK.com will waive the full credit counseling fees for clients whose household income is less than 150% of the estimated poverty guidelines for their applicable family size as published by the Department of Health and Human Services, found at this link: https://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty-guidelines. If a client is receiving legal services pro-bono, if their sole source of income is disability and/or they can show hardship, 1StopBK.com will also waive the full credit counseling fees.
Contact customersupport@1StopBk.com with your request for a full fee waiver, providing proof of income and household size. We will notify you within one business day of your eligibility.

1StopBK.com's Requirements for Credit Counseling
When you successfully complete 1StopBK.com's requirements for credit counseling, you will receive a certification upon request. The requirements for completion are as follows:
- You must complete 1StopBK.com's Internet credit counseling program, fill in all of the requested information truthfully and as accurately as possible.
- You must complete a counseling session with one of 1StopBK.com’s trained, certified credit counselors. You will be given instructions on how to complete your counseling session.
- 1stopbk.com is obligated to provide your certificate promptly upon completion of credit counseling services. Please carefully note the following qualifications: Certificates will be issued upon completion of all requirements of the online course and an interactive counseling session with a certified credit counselor by email or phone at the end of your course. Certificates will be issued within one hour of the completion of the email or phone counseling during normal business hours. After hours delivery will be by the first two hours of the next business day.
Other Disclosures:
The Agency does not pay or receive fees or other considerations for referrals. Course materials are provided through the Internet via an interactive learning module. The course can be accessed 7 days a week and 365 days a year. However, site support and credit counseling sessions are limited to certain hours of operation Mon-Th 10AM-6PM EST, Fri 10AM-4PM EST (except some holidays). Upon successful completion of the briefing or course, the approved Agencies will issue a certificate of completion to the client. A Special Note About Children: Children are not eligible to use our service and we ask that minors (under the age of 16) do not submit any personal information to us or use the service. 1StopBK.com does not collect or maintain information from those actually known to be under the age of 16, and no part of the Web site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 16.
This agency does not provide an opportunity to negotiate an alternative payment schedule with regard to each unsecured consumer debt under the terms as set forth in 11 U.S.C. 502(k). This agency does not refer clients to other agencies which may charge additional fees.

To use 1StopBK.com's services, when you come to the Web site you'll need to provide personal information such as your name, phone number, Partial Social Security Number, e-mail address, possibly income, information regarding assets and liabilities and other financial information.
(b) Technical information we collect. In order for 1StopBK.com to ensure that we are providing the best possible consumer experience on the Web site, we collect and track certain user information. When you visit the Web site, our Web server may send a cookie to your computer. This cookie stores a limited amount of information about your site visit. The cookie tracks aggregate information on how our site is being used, including session counts, navigation patterns, pages visited, etc. These cookies, however, do not store any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or phone number as you browse the site.
When you complete a Submission, we store your cookie identification in our system. 1StopBK.com might disclose client information to the United States Trustee in connection with the United States Trustee’s oversight of the agency, or during the investigation of complaints, during on-site visits, or during quality-of-service reviews [Section 6; 28 C.F.R. § 58.33(k)(7)].
How your information is used. We use the information you provide in your Submission or other submission of information to provide the Trustee Board of Debtor Education with the appropriate information to confirm you have completed the required debtor education course.
In addition, 1StopBK.com may disclose account or other personal information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with 1StopBK.com's rights or property, other Web site users or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
Altering Information You Submit through The 1StopBK.com Web Site. You may be able to review and change personal information in an active account. Contact us at customersupport@1StopBK.com for any such requests.
(a) Deleting your information. Federal and state regulations may require that we store completed Submissions for various periods of time. In order to comply with these regulations, we may be unable to delete information from our databases.
Security
1StopBK.com uses extensive and sophisticated secure technology to protect your data and transmissions between you, 1StopBK.com and Agencies participating in the Web site. Transmission between browsers and our web server is implemented using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This technology requires an SSL-capable browser. Although 1StopBK.com has taken these measures to ensure that your personal information is delivered and disclosed only in accordance with your instructions, 1StopBK.com cannot and does not guarantee that the personal information you provide will not be intercepted by others and decrypted.
Changes to Privacy Policy: If we make a change to our Privacy Policy in the future that will affect how we treat your information, we will notify you by e-mail of the change to the extent such change is material.
